Eileen Hannaford Architecture is a design studio based in Melbourne.
We design buildings imbued with clarity and spirit. Our focus is residential architecture and interiors, designed for liveability as well as beauty - spaces both poetic and practical in a way that enriches everyday experience and fosters wellbeing.
Following a thoughtful, open minded process, we begin with the aspirations of the client and the dynamics of the site. Ours is a rigorous creative process, valuing authenticity, sustainability, clarity of form, richness of material and spatial experience.
Our studio is located in Northcote, Melbourne.

We offer a flexible, value driven approach depending on your project stage and priorities - from one off consultative advice to a comprehensive service encompassing architecture and interiors, concept to completion.

Eileen completed her architectural degree at the University of Melbourne. Since then she has worked with some of Melbourne’s most renowned architectural practices - contributing to varied projects from acclaimed private homes, prestigious apartment buildings and bars and restaurants beloved across Melbourne.
